Hale Akua (“Home of the Divine” in the native Hawaiian language) is an exclusive, intimate, and secluded jungle garden retreat offering wonderful healing retreats in a spectacular natural setting.ĭeep thought and consideration was given to the placement and location of every structure at Hale Akua, so as to remain “at-one” with the ’Aina (or Spirit in Hawaiian) of the land, the jungle, and the ocean, with minimal environmental impact and utilize renewable energy methods. One of our missions to be an international hub for NVC leaders to foster and develop more training and workshops. One of the many ways we aim to strengthen our own team morale, and to hear and address guest’s needs more effectively. Our team members are trained in Nonviolent Communication (NVC), also known as Compassionate Communication. We are known for, and pride ourselves on, doing everything possible to make the group leader’s work effective and the guest’s stay magical. Hale Akua is a magical and idyllic place created and designed to provide a natural and supportive environment for groups, couples and individuals to relax, renew, and restore well-being. Since we are situated in the lush tropical rainforest we have the perfect location for growing organic vegetables and fruits, alongside with providing a healing environment to Eco-Retreat guests or to anyone else who visits us!
We are also miles away from the dioxin of sugar cane-burning and residues from gasoline, herbicides and pesticides. Our facility is bathed in ocean trade winds and negative ions from the 150 foot waterfall just below us.
